"So many of my clients have been asking if I will represent their work to Agents and Publishers.

They ask if I will :

send out their competition entries, first three chapters (submission package) or short stories for them and then - when they are published - help them with publicity and getting press/media awareness.

So, I feel the time is right to launch this side of In-Scribe - I will not only be able to help with your manuscripts but also when you are ready to send them out - and ultimately when your book is published or self-published too.

In doing so I would not be your Agent but your representative and my name would not be mentioned in the letter or emails I send out on your behalf.

It would look as if you had sent the emails and submission packages yourself and you would see and confirm that all of the material that I would send out for you would be just as you would like it to be – up to our usual exacting high standards.

The fee for this service is split into two:

the exact cost of any postal submissions that would be made (for printing, good quality paper, postage, excellent document wallet, stamped addressed padded envelope plus the submission envelope)

plus the cost of my expertise, know-how and time - I may be sending out your novel submissions (for example) for 3 - 6 months.

I must also add here that there is also no guarantee that you will be taken on by any of the Agents or Publishers that I would be submitting to for you - that is the reality of the publishing business.

However you will have had the very best start to your writing career and the knowledge that I have ‘pulled out all stops’ for you.

I must also say that I would never agree to represent a writers work in this way if I did not believe in them – doing otherwise would be a waste of my time and your money.

I want you to succeed in what is an exciting and exhilarating business.

I will also only submit your work to those people and companies that I feel would be of benefit to you.

There are literally hundreds of Publishers and Agents - and that is in the UK alone - so I am very selective in my choices and I would never send to someone who was not looking currently for submissions or was not interested in your genre - i.e. some Agents specialise in Young Adult (YA) and some do not want to see YA submissions - some do not like to receive Horror submissions and yet there are agencies that only take horror submissions.

It is such a wide and expansive area of knowledge and if you would like In-Scribe to guide you through these waters and give you safe passage to (we very much hope) a wonderful Agent/Publisher and help with getting your entries seen by the right people then we would be very honoured and happy to be your Guide!"

New Writers:

•A comprehensive submission of your work to the Agents and Publishers Tania feels would most be receptive to your work - there can be any number of these submissions in a year - from 1 to 50 is the average amount.

• Your competition entries sent to the people you would like them sent to - an hourly rate is charged for this service - Tania can email two thoroughly worded submissions an hour. Posted submissions would be charged by submissions and include postal and printing charges.

•Submissions not only to UK Agents and Publishers but also to those abroad if they are specialists in the subject of your manuscript.

•A special email address set up in your name or in your pen name so that In-Scribe can submit your sample chapters/synopsis and introduction letter on your behalf.

•Regular updates when replies come back by email and when an Agent or Publisher wishes to see your entire manuscript we will email/call you immediately and then send the manuscript on your behalf if you wish.

•When Tania has sent out to all email receptive Agents and Publishers she will then submit your work by post too - using your address and all of your details for reply.

It is normal to wait up to six weeks for a reply from an Agent/Publisher that has been mailed and up to four weeks for a reply to come from an emailed Agent/Publisher.

Agents and Publishers do not like follow up calls or emails so Tania regrets she cannot chase up any responses but 90 per cent of Agent/Publishers will respond in good time.

Published Writers:

When you are taken on by an Agency or Publisher and wish the world to know about your new book Tania will:

· Send out press packs and media releases to get your work seen by those who count.

· Help with book launches!

· Advise on setting up local TV and radio interviews.

· Advise on your presentation as media figure.

Tania was an Award Winning Agent for Film and TV actors and personalities and knows how to bring out the best in people when they face the world's media.
